Good evening Dolphins!

Thank you to everyone who showed up and participated in Saturday's time trials.  I have attached the results here.  For those that are continuing on, these times will be your swimmer's preliminary times.  Each week that they compete, they have the opportunity to beat their times and win a speeding ticket.  For those that are new to swim, we will explain more about speeding tickets soon, but they are an excellent way to motivate your swimmer to work hard and beat their own times.

We appreciate your patience as we dusted the rust of everything and got our processes up and running for the season.  Overall, you guys showed up, your swimmers swam great and everyone enjoyed some yummy concessions, so thank you!!!

A few reminders as we move forward with the season:

1. Please make sure you are helping to make sure your swimmer is ready to line up when called.  We KNOW (and LOVE) that neighborhood swim meets are full of social fun, but it will be so helpful if everyone can try and also pay attention to help limit the amount of volunteers scrambling to find swimmers to line up.
2. Please make sure we are taking good care of our facilities.  We have brand new beautiful furniture to enjoy this summer.  Please make sure you keep your kids from walking, standing or jumping on the chairs.
3. We have been asked to keep all kids out of the trees on property.  This is a liability for the neighborhood and we would just hate to see anyone get hurt.  
4. At future meets, we will have you write only your child's event number and stroke type on their arms.  Sometimes we have to switch kids around in lanes and heats if someone doesn't show up, so the most important thing is that they are lined up for their event number.  Katie and the coaches will make sure that the swimmers get in the correct heat and lane.
