Please Note: we might cut out or add practices depending on team/group size

* In order to give more flexibility, coach Jim together with other assistant coaches, will offer an additional morning practice. Swimmers must be able to swim across the pool. Depending on needs we might adjust this set up.

** 6 & Under - group 1 is for beginners. 6 & Under - group 2 is for kids who can already swim.

If the need arises and after consultation with our coach, swimmers might be able to swim in an alternate time slot. Please contact Coach Traci if you have questions.

*** Coach Traci will hold a stroke clinic (for all ages ready to swim the specific stroke) once a week. The date and stroke will be announced in advance.

**** Coaches are available for private lessons. Please ask the coach you like to practice with for their rates and availability.

Swimsuits / Uniforms

Our model for 2018 is Phoenix Splice in Navy & Orange.
The same style is typically used for two swim team seasons. This will be our 4th season with this style. A link to the sizing charts is here.

We will have suits for you available at the pool to purchase in May. The cost is the same as in 2017: Girls suits $57, boys $38. We hope we can match last year's great (discounted) prices (tax is included).

Dolphins Lightning & Thunderstorm Policy

Summertime is here! But with all the fun, sun, cookouts, and swimming also come rain and storms. In our area of the country, these storms can seemingly pop up without warning, and have unpredictable patterns (i.e. in Houston, storms do not always move west to east).

While it is disappointing to miss swim practice or have to get out early, for the safety of all children and adults, our team follows the industry standard in response to lightning and thunderstorms:

  • When thunder and/or lightning are first noticed, pool activities will be immediately suspended and all people must evacuate the pool and clear the deck areas. Pool activities will be suspended for thirty (30) minutes from the time the first thunder is heard or first lightning is sighted.
  • Pool activities will continue to be suspended until thirty minutes after the last thunder is heard.

You may read our Emergency Action Plan here. Thank you for your support in keeping our team safe!
